Why UC Davis?
As a Pre-Health student, I recognized and appreciated the plethora of Pre-Hospital internship and volunteer opportunities. Also, in visiting the campus, I fell in love with the community and knew it was the place for me.

What is your favorite thing about UC Davis?
The people! The campus climate is engaging, collaborative, diverse and inclusive. The students and faculty throughout UC Davis support one another and work together to create a healthy and positive environment.

What has the university taught you?
I came from an overly competitive and cutthroat high school, with the mentality of being "The Best" or doing "The Most." UC Davis has taught me the importance and value of collaborative work and research.

What is your favorite thing about Davis as a college town?
All of the amazing restaurants and the weekly Farmers Market, which locals call the "FarMar." Throughout campus and downtown, the hospitable and welcoming environment is unparalleled.

What should a new Aggie do in Davis?
Get out there and explore! The city and surrounding area have so much to offer. From hiking and swimming opportunities at Putah Creek to curated vintage stores in downtown, Davis has something for everyone.
