What is your favorite thing about UC Davis?
Its commitment to sustainability and how green the campus is. There are a lot of outdoor places to hang out and study.

What is the most surprising thing you’ve discovered about UC Davis?
There are more bikes than students.

What challenges have you overcome as part of university life?
Covid put a hold on a lot of my plans. I had planned to go to Archeology field school the summer of 2020, but it was postponed. Fortunately, however, I used my extra time to start an honors thesis. I was able to complete field school summer of 2021, and it was an amazing experience.

Best advice you’d give to a new Aggie? Don’t be afraid to explore your interests. Take classes outside your major and try out new things. You may find a new passion.

What would you tell a prospective student who is thinking about applying to UC Davis? When choosing a school, your happiness should be a factor that guides your decision.
